"Not only" 可以放句前來當強調語氣:

"Also"有時能省略:

她不只是因創新作品, 還有她特殊的個性而聞名。
Exercising not only is good for your body but also your mental health. = Exercising is not only good for your body but also your mental health.
運動不只益於身體, 也助於精神健康。

...too...to..., ...太...而不能... :

The man is too old to play football.
這人太老了, 不能玩橄欄球。

As many as Vs. As much as:

"As many as"用來苗述、比較可數的事物,而"As much as"用來苗述、不可數的事物:
There are as many as 20000 people at the stadium.
球場有多達2萬人。(人是可數的)
I drink as much milk as you do.
我喝跟你一樣多的牛奶。(牛奶是不可數的)

As few as Vs. As little as

"As few as"用來苗述、比較可數的事物,而"As little as"用來苗述、比較不可數的事物:
I read as few as 2 books a year.
我一年讀的書少到兩本。(書是可數的)
I sleep as little as 4 hours a day.
我一天睡眠少到4個小時。(睡眠是不可數的)

Let alone, 意思是更不用說:

His atheletic performance is not the best in his country, let alone the best in the world.
他的運動表現在他國家已不是最棒的, 更不用說是世最頂尖的。

Around the corner, 意思是附近:

Once you exit the hotel, restaurants are right around the corner.
當你一離開飯店, 餐聽附近四處都有。
